|08:09 pm - Holy Crap!|
On the beer show that's on the History channel, I just saw that Samual Adams has a 25% alcohol beer, Utopias. Holy crap! And it's naturally brewed. They use lots of malt and use a specially bred yeast that they have been breeding for 13 years so that it will stay alive longer in highly alcoholic environment.
Current Mood: awed
$100 a bottle? Damn. That must be some good beer. Well, the guy from Sam Adams was saying that the dangers of distilling (flavor wise) is that you tend to isolate the flavors that are close to ethanol. With Utopias, you get the full flavor of the drink.
