I hurt my left ankle in ninja class during a take down. It's quite tender now. That's martial arts for you.
Liz and I are going to my Mom's this weekend to clean and throw stuff out while she's on vacation up north. We will be getting a new kitten very soon. We got kitten food today in preparation. We also went to the local Humane Society and looked at kittens. We were there too late to actually adopt one, but we got to look at them. There were several adorable ones there.
Current Mood: hurt, but tired

i hope your ankle is better soon.
kittens are great. i wish i could ship you my two that need a home (lttermates, affectionate, adorable) handle the kitten as much as possible, as gently as possible. The more they're handled when they're young the more affectionate they will be as they age. if there is a deformed cat needing a home, you might try that as well. some cats are born with birth defects and never get adopted. one of our cats has horribly bent front legs and can't walk normally, but he's also very sweet and mobile and plays with the other cats. just some stuff to toos out at ya!
enjoy the new addition!

We plan on handling the kitten a lot as Liz wants it to be very snuggly. Angus doesn't like to be held very much, although he does like to snuggle with her.
After looking at the kittens we looked at the adult cats. It was rather heartbreaking. There was one female cat that on her sheet had written all about how sweet and loving she is. But getting a kitten will be easier for Angus to adjust to.
