We also went to the library. I got three books by Cecilia Dart-Thornton: The Ill-Made Mute, The Lady of The Sorrows, and The Battle of Evernight. I got them mostly for the blurb by Andre Norton that said 'Not since Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring fell into my hands have I been so impressed by a beautifully written fantasy." They look interesting. I also got the Necronomicon by Donald Tyson. I normally don't like Donald Tyson as he's a dick wad, but I've got a weakness for the Necronomicon. Also, there's good news in that I didn't have a library fine. I had returned some books and the next month when I went to get more I was told I had an overdue book. I argued saying that I was sure that I had returned it. They said the would do a shelf check. I went home all indignant and promptly found the said missing library book. I returned it pronto, thinking that I was for sure going to have to pay a huge fine. But apparently by the time they did the shelf check, the book was already on the shelf. Anyway, I didn't have to pay anything and I'm happy.

So after we went to the library and to Meijer's, and to get chinese food, it turns out that we didn't have any cat food. So I went out to the local Krogers and got some, along with some spinich dip for some pretzels. I also got something that sounded good at the time: grapples. These are apples that taste like grapes. It turns out that they are kind of gross.

Anyway, we rented Stepford Wives. Interesting movie and it had a happy ending.

Bitterbynde Trilogy.

The first book is awesome. Unfortunately, the story goes downhill from there, and gets really confusing. That could just be me though.
