I almost forgot. The presenter kept asking us questions and having us raise our hands in answer. Like, "How many of you feel that this is the kind of returns you want to see?" and we'd all raise our hand. Or "How many of you think that teaching teenagers how to make money is a good thing?"
At first I thought he was just annoying, but I realized it was deliberate. He was using this tactic to keep us all involved. Pretty sneaky.
Also, I went to the seminar expecting them to try to sell us something and I was also firm about not buying anything. It was at least comforting to realize that the product wasn't too bad even though I wasn't buying.
